Douglas County Child Safety Seat Coalition works to reduce the number of children who are injured and killed unnecessarily by the improper use of child safety seats.

Convertible and booster safety seats will be provided to financially qualified families.

Through community partnerships with both public and private entities, the Coalition will provide organized education and training, safety seat inspections and clinics that will increase the proper use of child safety seats following the recommendations of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

Appoints available on the first Friday of each month (Due to the fair the first child safety seat check will be Tuesday, August 10)
