Douglas County Drug Index

The abuse of tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs has a negative effect on the health and safety of communities throughout Oregon. Rural communities are not immune to the problem of drug abuse and may be at an even higher risk than their urban counterparts.

While the information presented in the 2008 Drug Impact Index highlights the challenge of drug abuse for Douglas County, it also demonstrates the commitment of our community to finding solutions that work for children, families, and communities.
